In the light of keenness of Tanta University on developing and updating the Data Center, the university has expanded the main headquarters of the Data Center which is located in the Central Library building at the Medical Campus. It is periodically provided with the latest equipment and software to upgrade the connection speed with the Egyptian Universities Network. All the faculties of the university are connected together with fiber optic cables. In addition, the internet speed to access all the sites was increased to contribute to upgrading the educational, research, and administrative efficiency at the university.
Outputs and achievements of the Information Network Unit from October 2004 to 2019
